My New Digs!

This weekend I moved to my new apartment. My old apartment served me well for my first year on my own, but I was ready to move to something a little bit bigger. Also, my old apartment did not have an oven, and I complained bitterly througout the year about the lack of one. So, I decided to bite the bullett and upgrade.

My new place is still in the same part of town, close to my office and the park where I walk in the mornings (well, try to walk...). It added about 4 minutes onto my walking commute to the office, which is not so bad.

My new place has an oven, naturally, and an extra bedroom, so I can now officially say that any and all visitors are welcome to Bangkok! You will have your own bedroom and bathroom and, if you bring me Nestle Chocolate Chips (we can't get them here), I'll even bake you chocolate chip cookies!

These pictures are from my last night in my old apartment and first day in the new. We toasted the move with a bottle of champagne, of course!
