The Balmy Bahamas Cruise

This weekend Julio and I were invited aboard the Balmy Bahamas Cruise, where I found myself to be a suspect in the murder of a washed-up singer who was trying to re-claim his fame.
OK, we were guests at a murder mystery dinner party, if you must know. My character was Sandy Frosty, an Academy Award winning actress/producer/director who's been in the business since I was three. We had all sorts of characters there- all celebrities, naturally. The host of the cruise was Tilly Song, a famous country singer, then there was Cosmo LuvLuvLuv, a Croatian tennis player, Gerardo Martini, a Latin Pop Star and, lest I forget, Twinkle Fingers, the ghost of a Liberace-esque entertainer, to name a few.
Not everyone was a suspect- we had 2 detectives, a handful of witnesses and then just some observers along for the ride.
It was a fun night, filled with hilarious characters, good margaritas and lots of laughs. Oh, and if you're wondering, I didn't do it. I was climbing the ship's observation tower at the time of the murder (in my three inch heels, no less!).
On another note, I just finished baking the first batch of my famous chocolate chip cookies in the coveted oven in my new apartment. Yeah for Nestle chocolate chips! (They're the one thing I truly miss and ALWAYS bring back from the states. I have a few bags in my freezer.)

I knew you were innocent - it was the 3" heels!
Much love,
Mom
